Motorcycle Accident
We have secured a $4M settlement for a motorcycle accident, even though the victim was deemed to be at fault.
Khashayar Law Group, leading San Diego motorcycle accident attorneys, secured a $4 million wrongful death settlement in a fatal motorcycle collision in National City, California — even though the victim was initially deemed at fault. This result is among the reasons our firm is widely regarded as one of the best motorcycle accident attorneys in San Diego.
In 2018, at the 100 block of Mile of Cars Way in National City, CA, the defendant — driving a courtesy van owned by the Frank Defendants — failed to yield to the Decedent's right of way while he was riding his Yamaha motorcycle. This breach of duty led to a collision between the van and the motorcycle, violating California Vehicle Code Section 21801(a). The Decedent was thrown from his motorcycle and sustained massive head injuries upon impact with the road. These multiple blunt-force traumas caused immense physical and emotional suffering, ultimately leading to his death after a period of prolonged agony.
Because the Decedent survived the collision for some period of time, our client was entitled to all damages to which the Decedent would have been entitled had he not succumbed to his injuries. Though this was an extremely difficult liability case and the Defendants refused to take any responsibility, our legal team secured a $4 million settlement for our deserving clients.
Khashayar Law Group represents motorcyclists and their families across San Diego and California in serious motorcycle accident and wrongful death claims.
